Kimi livecheck URL returns nothing

Description of issue

Kimi livecheck URL returns nothing for some reason, even if I use VPN. The same URL exists in UI for certain combination of languages and location, but even when I get the URL from website (which is the the same one as the one in cask), I still get nothing as a response.

I can manually bump the cask when I get info about new version through GUI, but I have no idea where and how to get proper info about latest version since URL used in cask does not work anymore.

I haven't found the link for desktop version from the homepage, did you?
We can manually bump this, but there is no way to get the new version info for now I think.
Maybe upstream just focus on the app version..

The link used in cask is from https://kimi.com, but it is not visible for everyone. Visibility depends on user location (or used VPN):

The problem is that even if I get the link and click on it, it does not return anything. The result (or to be precise the absence of result) is not caused by the location. Same applies to referrer, user agent... Looks like it is some kind of bug.

I found the other link on https://kimi.moonshot.cn/ which works fine

But since it is direct link to latest dmg version, we need to use plist_extract to get version
https://kimi-img.moonshot.cn/prod-chat-kimi/kimi/kimi-desktop-mac-arm.dmg

I just tested updated cask, and it works as expected so I will post PR very soon.

Since links works globally, I am not sure that not displaying the links to everyone is enough reason for deprecation, but I will leave that decision to the Homebrew team. I am just a user trying to help.

btw. you can open https://kimi.moonshot.cn/download/whatever where this whatever is literally whatever (as long as link does not exist), and you will get https://kimi.moonshot.cn/ where you can find a link I used for updated live check. If you try any other link that does not contain download/something_that_not_exists it will probably transfer you to kimi.com
