Another problem is that the text color of the content text is not white but instead some gray color; background For meta information such as the publishing date that might be fine, but it feels weird for the large content text. |

@KexyBiscuit would you mind sharing your browser and device? I can confirm I'm experiencing the same, but the more information the better! |

It seems 'light mode' is actually implemented though. You can enable it by opening your browser development tools, and changing for the But there seem to be some issues with this 'light mode' (some elements still using colors of 'dark mode'), so maybe that is why they haven't enabled it by default? |

Hello 👋 I'm afraid to say that but the new Changelog website is challenging me a lot too. This new website is very poor regarding the accessibility in general. Why you impose to me a very full dark website ? A lot of people can't use a dark website like that (astigmatism for example) - the eye don't support the contrast and it is very hard to read or to be concentrating in this context. Especially since the text is the main content here. An accessible product respect the user choice anytime. If I like light theme, you need to respect my choice. And I respect the people who love dark theme. Please reintroduce a light theme with supporting the default browser preference and/or an user preference. GitHub is globally accessible, but I'm really afraid a mainstream changelog can be develop and push into production without some validation in this area. Completely not understandable and respectufull Thank you so much. |

There is a certain irony in struggling to read this changelog entry due to poor contrast: https://github.blog/changelog/2025-06-05-control-contrast-for-all-github-themes/ |

Since the recent changelog improvements, I've noticed the changelog appears locked to dark mode while the rest of the blog supports light mode. For accessibility reasons, I find the dark mode text extremely difficult to read. Could you please add a light/dark mode toggle to match the rest of the blog's functionality? This would greatly improve readability. Thanks for considering this! |

It seems that since Improvements to Changelog experience, the changelog site is locked to dark mode, despite other part of the blog site being in light mode.
Text under dark mode makes reading nearly impossible for me. Please allow the user to switch between light mode and dark mode, thanks.
